Bad Dog

I'm a huge hypocrite. You know that unfunny shit from Hot Topic that likes to mix cute and evil/gloomy/whatever the opposite of happy is and call it comedy gold? Yeah, I hate that shit and it's never funny. But god knows that all the things I produce are cute and gross mixed together. Oh well, anyway onto zombie dogs.



I've had a character that was a normal dog then something happened, never could figure it out, and became an enraged undead pooch. Not that original but it's fun to draw and design. Doggy skulls already look really cartoony so it's a no-brainer for the design. Red jammies would also make it more cute. But what breed of dog?

Originally I was going with just a normal wolfy dog but that's not that cute. That third skull over there is more like a pomeranian. Now that's cute! And have you ever seen those fluffy guys in clothes? HOLY CRAP!

I've been a scatter brain with all my personal projects. It's really hard for me to focus on one thing. But being able to "take a break" from one thing and go to another seems to fuel me a lot more than sticking to one, putting it aside to sketch more/think, and end up just being burnt out by it.

So it's been probably six months since I've gone about with my Angels Vs. Aliens kiddo's. I randomly started to sketch that little bear guy there, Rommel, during a painful match of AV and kablammo! I'm interested in the project again. Not too crazy about the uzi's, I think regular (oversized) handguns fit his character more. Besides, it just makes him darn cuter:

Rommel's kind of an idiot but he's one helluva marksman.

Oh Cats

Cats are kinda awesome animals! They'll cuddle with you just to keep themselves warm, they'll make you feel like you have a purpose in the world just so they'll have a bite to eat, and best of all some come about looking like they're dressed in little suits. When their larger relatives are pitted against boars, baboons, and/or wolves they will win the fight. Yes, cats.

If I had a gigantic list of things I loved the most in this world, cats would probably be top 10. Notwithstanding such a fact, the things I hate the most in the world regard cats: generic rpg cat people, horrible anime, Hot Topic and unfunny cat memes. Sometimes people will even go out of their way to piss me off even more and further incorporate cat abortions with other things I love. For example I once saw a drawing of Pam (The Office) as a cat. That picture pretty much ruined my month.
